School activity days and residentials

BF Adventure has many years of experience of providing multi activity days and residentials for schools and colleges throughout Cornwall and beyond.

Secondary school group rafting

You can choose from a wide range of  fun and inspiring activities and spend one or several days (and nights) at our centre. All programmes can be tailor-made to your needs.

All actitvities can also be run as evening sessions or how about one of the following:

BBQ - camp fire - Floating glow stick boats on the quarry - Night photography - Story telling or a night walk.

Overnight accommodation is availabe as camping or in the on-site bunkhouse or at the YHA hostel in Coverack (subject to availability ).

Upon request we can also arrange catering and transport for you.

 

Each programme is tailor made to suit the need of the group.

Our sessions are ideal for:

  • Annual offsite residential trip
  • Addressing issues such as group cohesion and bullying

Students learning woodland skillsAll programmes can be matched with key skills and the curriculum such as:

  • Outdoor learning

  • Geography

Our instructors are trained in running activities as well as in youth work and will support pupils in further developing life skills such as:

  • Confidence
  • Problem solving
  • Working as a team
  • Leadership skills

BF Adventure also offers nationally recognised accreditations including AQA’s Unit Award Scheme, ASDAN Short Courses and Wider Key Skills Qualifications. Programmes can include Individual Learner Plans so that there is clear measurement of progression or positive outcome.
