Eden project - “Survive and Thrive” and “Mud between their toes”

Created by Eden Project and BF Adventure, Survive and Thrive is a powerful mix of outdoor pursuits, wilderness immersion and environmental understanding.

In this 4 day challenge students consider well being from a personal, local and global perspective.

“Survive and Thrive has helped me trust people. I now realise that I’m here for a reason. I have changed my thoughts on plants and the environment.” Dave (15)

Eden Project and BF Adventure can offer advice and support for how to capture the experience of Survive and Thrive, and continue the journey. For some young people, this may involve signposting to agencies and organisations that can support them. For schools we can discuss how best to integrate the experience into ASDAN, Leadership Awards or particular programmes being developed by the school.

Who is it for?

Survive and Thrive provides a launch pad for young people (11–19); both those who are struggling to make sense of their place in the world, and those who are natural leaders for a more positive future.

This programme is part funded. We are happy to work with schools, colleges and youth groups who would like to enhance their curriculum or activities. Contact us for more information.
